No guest under fourteen is admitted, and there are no elevators. What sets it apart from other Cypriot boutiques is that cyclists come here specifically: custom Factor O2 carbon bikes with Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupsets and Black Inc wheels are ready to ride, and the hotel hosts its Lefkara Classic endurance sportive in November on the car-free mountain roads around it. Others come for the Ayurvedic treatments, offered Friday through Sunday, or for the saltwater pool, Saturday yoga, and weekly live music. The restaurant, Novél, serves a Mediterranean menu; breakfast runs about fifteen euros extra where not included, and arriving after 10pm brings a late check-in fee. The hotel recently received its first Michelin Key, a distinction rarely handed to a property this size. Stay at least three nights, as the hotel itself suggests, and it works for anyone drawn to a road bike or a treatment room rather than a beach chair.
