The Foxtons Hotel has 192 rooms in Parioli, Rome's residential neighborhood north of Villa Borghese where local Romans live and MACRO and MAXXI museums draw the contemporary art crowd. Mid-century Italian design executed properly: parquet floors, statement headboards, brass lighting, bold color pops, local stone, lacquered timber. The bathrooms inspired by classic Italian cinema interiors. It opened in 2021, and the hotel is an 8-minute walk from Villa Borghese, 20 minutes from Trevi Fountain. The Hoxtons has six room categories from Shoebox to Comfort, all with the same design look. Soundproofed, blackout blinds, Blank bathroom amenities (Hoxton's own range). The larger rooms have a super-king bed, lounge area for morning coffee, dressing area with full-length mirror, plus a roomy balcony and/or terrace for outdoor space. In house Elio restaurant is designed to evoke long, boozy Italian holiday meals with energy, and joyous hospitality of summer in Rome. Japanese restaurant Cantera meets Italian, sushi and gyoza alongside carpaccio, while café Cugino serves Pastries and Italian rays all day long. At 6pm, Cugino shifts from café to aperitivo bar, and while house-made antipasti appear, the crowd changes, and it stays open late for proper cocktails.

Request top floor Branzi building rooms, not the Renaissance palazzo everyone asks for. The '80s postmodern side has floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the color blocked furniture with natural light ,corner rooms ending in 8 or 9 photograph better

Request for dark chocolate into the bottom of your waffle cone before scooping. The two taps behind the counter aren't advertised but locals know to request it. Then let them recommend pairings zabaione with Sicilian coffee is their signature.
Cultural Stop
Visit MAXXI for the architecture. Hadid's flowing concrete and deliberate disorientation are the experience. Tuesday-Friday mornings give you empty galleries and space to get lost in the building's intentional maze without fighting weekend crowd.
