People who work in the industry but don't announce it. Good conversations, exceptional cocktails, better than Chateau. The acoustics let you actually hear. Book a suite if you can. The extra space matters if you're using your room as more than somewhere to sleep. A Ardor is worth reserving ahead, John Fraser is cooking, and it's one of those rare hotel restaurants that doesn't feel like a compromise.
