Right at the corner of Wilshire and Rodeo, the Beverly Wilshire has been holding court since 1928, and it knows exactly what it is. Yes, this is the Pretty Woman hotel, but don't let that distract you from the fact that it's genuinely excellent at what it does: old Hollywood glamour meets Four Seasons polish. The location is unbeatable if you're here to actually experience Beverly Hills rather than just pass through. You can walk to the best shopping, the restaurants worth your time, and those palm-lined residential streets that feel like a different era. The building itself is split between the original Wilshire Wing with its historic bones and the newer Beverly Wing with more contemporary rooms. Both work, but the Wilshire Wing has more character if that matters to you. Rooms in the historic wing have high ceilings and that sense of grandeur you'd expect, while the Beverly Wing feels sleeker and more modern. The suites are genuinely spacious, the kind where you can actually work or entertain without feeling cramped. Marble bathrooms throughout, and the Four Seasons attention to detail that means everything just works. The rooftop pool gets excellent light and has cabanas that are worth booking if you're planning to spend time there. CUT by Wolfgang Puck downstairs is legitimately one of LA's better steakhouses, not just a hotel restaurant that happens to be good. The crowd is international, well-heeled, and here because they know what they want from a luxury hotel. Service is what you'd expect from Four Seasons, which is to say impeccable without being stiff. They're particularly good at handling requests smoothly, the mark of a property that's been doing this long enough to anticipate what you need.
