Lesante Cape Resort and Villas
Zakynthos is not Santorini or Mykonos, and Lesante Cape has shaped everything around that fact. Built on a hillside in Akrotiri village on the east coast of the island, on a site where the noblemen of Zakynthos once had their manors, the resort is designed as a traditional Greek village in miniature; honeyed stone, red pantile rooftops, white arches, and a cobbled central piazza where a 400-year-old olive tree anchors the space and guests gather for Greek coffee in the evenings. There is a folklore museum, a small church, a handful of boutiques, herb and vegetable gardens, a working vineyard, and flower-lined lanes connecting everything. It is an ambitious idea and it works, which is not always guaranteed when a resort builds itself a village square. Accommodation ranges from Deluxe Suites and Spa Suites with private hot tubs to Signature Suites with private pools and one, two, and three-bedroom villas, all with sea views over the Ionian toward Kefalonia in the distance. The interiors are warm and unhurried, tiled floors, beamed ceilings, earthy tones, and the kind of palette that makes the outside world recede quickly. The hotel houses four restaurants; Elea for Mediterranean dinners and breakfast, Novita as an open-air seafood and Ionian kitchen overlooking the sea, Fiore for fine dining with panoramic views, and Bostani for the farm-to-table kitchen drawing on the resort's own gardens. Three tiered pools with Ionian views. The Armonia Wellness Spa with indoor and outdoor pool. A private beach below the cliffs with sun loungers and a jetty. The resort operates its own fleet of speedboats for day trips to Shipwreck Beach, the Blue Caves, and the quieter coves that only make sense from the water. This is a resort for people who want Greece without the performance of the most famous islands, who find the idea of a village square at sunset with local wine and a view of the Ionian considerably more appealing than a cocktail bar in Mykonos. Short version: A Leading Hotels of the World resort on the east coast of Zakynthos, built as a traditional Greek village around a 400-year-old olive tree, with suites and villas all facing the Ionian Sea, four restaurants drawing on the resort's own gardens and vineyards, and a fleet of private speedboats for the beaches and caves the island keeps to itself.

Described on the official site as the crowning glory of Lesante Cape, this villa recreates a private countryside estate with dark cobblestone exteriors and stately archways. It hosts up to six guests across three bedrooms with a private garden, furnished sun terrace and a 120 sqm heated pool framed by panoramic Ionian Sea views.
