GiO is The Margi's intimate winter restaurant, designed to evoke an Italian olive grove with a bar set at its center. Beyond regular dining, the space hosts private events ranging from corporate cocktail parties to weddings and birthdays, giving guests a distinctive Mediterranean-inspired setting away from the hotel's main dining room.
A Family Legacy Since 1960
The Margi traces its roots to 1960, when Dr. Yiangos Stavridis began building the Margi House, a complex of eighteen apartments in Vouliagmeni's pine forest, later named after his daughters Maria and Gina. Three generations of the Stavridis family still run the hotel today, with the founder's grandchildren overseeing operations and design.
