That scale is the point: this is a small hotel with a restaurant serving breakfast through to an 11.30pm close, a rooftop pool for the evening crowd, and a day club of loungers where the Friday and Saturday DJ nights and Sunday barbecues happen without spilling into a resort of hundreds. Rooms are compact but properly equipped, with air conditioning, mini bar, safe and private bathroom as standard, and the Angel Suite adds a touch more space and polish for anyone wanting to mark the occasion. Free Wi-Fi and free parking cover the practical side, concierge and laundry take care of the rest, and tour assistance at the desk works if you want the Japanese Peace Pagoda or Jungle Beach without arranging it yourself. Dalawella Beach and Wijaya Beach are both close enough to walk to, and the city center is a short two kilometres off if you want a change of scene. None of this suits anyone chasing quiet solitude: the terrace and pool draw a sociable, music-friendly crowd, and families get their own corner with a Kids Club.
