THE PINK NOTEBOOK VERDICT
The Elizabeth Hotel, Autograph Collection
The Elizabeth Hotel, Autograph Collection sits in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins, a five-floor build with 164 rooms finished in 2017, close enough to Colorado State University (1.2 miles away) that the Ram Suite upstairs, done in bold collegiate colors, reads as more than decoration. Live music already runs through the building at Magic Rat and Sunset Lounge, but the detail most hotels skip is the instrument and vinyl lending library at the front desk, the kind of amenity that turns into an in-room turntable spinning records or a guitar making its way up to the Music Suite, where a baby grand piano, a full kitchen, and a soaking tub share the floor plan. The Beer & Bikes Suite, with its firepit patio and full beer fridge, suits a different crowd entirely, and the ADA Suite adds a roll-in shower and ground-level parking for guests who need it. Downstairs, a fitness center, terrace, restaurant, bar, and cafe cover daily needs, and pets stay for a flat $75 per room per stay. A $23 nightly parking charge and a $50 daily damage deposit mean this isn't the hotel for someone counting every dollar, and the Walnut Ballroom's wedding traffic means it isn't the quietest either. It works for the touring musician, the pet owner planning a long weekend, and the CSU parent who wants the game-day suite to match. It works less well for a guest who wants to disappear into an anonymous room away from Old Town's foot traffic. Check-in runs from 4pm, checkout at 11am, and by the time you leave, someone else has already checked out that turntable. An instrument and vinyl lending library sits at the front desk of this 164-room Old Town Fort Collins hotel, feeding a Music Suite with its own baby grand piano. It suits touring musicians, pet owners, and CSU parents more than anyone hoping for a quiet, anonymous stay.
