Parc Broekhuizen
Parc Broekhuizen sits in the wooded countryside near Leersum, ten minutes from Anderstein Golfclub and close enough to Amerongen Castle, Kasteel Huis Doorn, and Castle Duurstede that a rented bike covers all three before lunch. The main house is a design hotel with 22 air-conditioned rooms, each with free minibar, flat-screen television, down comforters, and Frette Italian sheets, and bathrooms fitted with rainfall showerheads and designer toiletries. What sets it apart from the usual manor-hotel formula is the range beyond those rooms: a one-bedroom apartment, cottages, suites with private terraces, and a house built for entire groups, sleeping up to eight adults and four children under one roof, useful for a family reunion or a wedding party that wants to stay together rather than scattered across corridors. Wedding services and event facilities back that up, alongside a garden and terrace for the toast itself. Two restaurants sit on site, including Voltaire's international menu, plus a bar for afterward and room service for those who'd rather not leave the room at all. Breakfast runs 7:00 to 10:30 AM for a fee. Concierge staff and a 24-hour desk handle the practical side, from luggage to laundry, and self parking is free. This suits people traveling as a group who want privacy and structure rather than a hotel that treats every party as a collection of separate bookings; a solo traveler wanting café culture on foot should look elsewhere, since Leersum itself is quiet and the castles are a drive or ride away, not a walk. The house with room for twelve is the detail worth remembering. Parc Broekhuizen pairs a 22-room design hotel with cottages, suites, and a house sleeping up to twelve, set in gardens near three historic castles. Frette linens and rainfall showers cover the essentials; the house-sized unit is the reason a group might book here instead of splitting across two hotels.

Your taste already has an address

Parc Broekhuizen's history stretches back centuries, and after a major restoration begun in 2011 the estate reopened at the end of 2016. Original buildings, including a former carriage house, were preserved and adapted, so guests now stay inside a landmark rather than a purpose-built hotel.
The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. A delicious breakfast provides energy for the rest of the day. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.
