This is an 11-room farm estate 17 kilometres outside Noto, its citrus groves the setting for private lunches the chef builds around whatever the trees and fields produce that week. The Lumìa Lounge sits among 150 varieties of aromatic plants, facing the pool and the valley, and the restaurant of the same name builds its Sicilian dishes around the story behind each ingredient. Rooms run from 25 to 50 square metres, no two alike; the Annunciata junior suite has a vaulted red ceiling, a crystal chandelier, and a freestanding tub set at its centre like a sculpture. There is a spa, a garden, a terrace, and parking, but no lift, so those who need step-free access from room to grounds should check ahead. Breakfast, a restaurant, and a snack bar cover meals; concierge, laundry, and luggage storage cover the rest.
