D-Resort Sibenik
At D-Resort Sibenik, the view from the pool deck is not the usual seafront blur but a working superyacht marina, D-Marin Mandalina, with a shuttle boat that carries guests across the water to Sibenik's old town, a maze of medieval streets crowned by a hilltop fort in a city with more than 950 years of history. That marina setting is what separates this resort from the rest of the Dalmatian coast: 63 rooms across three floors, a private beach a kilometre from the city centre, and the Kornati Islands' 150-island archipelago within day-trip reach. Inside, the resort covers the practical ground well: indoor and outdoor pools, a spa with sauna, steam room and massage, a gym, a diving club, table tennis, a library, and a kids' club with its own playroom and children's pool. A restaurant, bar, poolside bar and cafe handle meals, with gluten-free and diet options on request and half board rates available. Staff speak English, German, Italian and Turkish. The property carries Green Key certification. Rooms run from Deluxe Doubles to sea-view suites with balconies, and interconnecting rooms are available for families, though the extra-bed fee of 70 EUR a night and the 120 EUR one-way airport transfer are worth factoring into the total. Pets travel for a flat 30 EUR per stay. This suits divers, sailors, and anyone who wants a harbour instead of a horizon; it will do less for travellers chasing a quiet, empty shoreline. Check in at three, leave by noon, and the boats will still be there when you're gone. D-Resort Sibenik sits inside a working superyacht marina a kilometre from Sibenik's old town, with pools, a spa, and a kids' club rounding out the practical side. It suits divers and sailors more than anyone hoping for a quiet stretch of empty coast.

True to its position beside D-Marin Mandalina, one of the Adriatic's premier superyacht marinas, the resort runs its own nautical excursions, inviting guests aboard the hotel's boat to explore the Kornati Islands, a 150-island archipelago just offshore, or to simply cruise the coastline for the afternoon.
A kids club and playroom are available for younger guests.
The resort sits next to its own private beach.
The property is wheelchair accessible with a lift and accessible rooms.
A shuttle boat connects the resort to Šibenik's old town.
