Amazon Mykonos Resort & Spa sits on its own peninsula at Agios Ioannis bay, close enough to Mykonos Town, three kilometers off, to reach for dinner, far enough that the view from most suites is nothing but water and, on a clear evening, the outline of Delos turning gold at sunset. Opened in 2021, the resort holds just 62 rooms across a single floor and favors private infinity pools over shared ones: most suites have their own, plus a large communal infinity pool for the days you want company. The Sunset restaurant serves Greek Mediterranean plates with the same sea view, and the spa runs the expected massage, sauna and hammam circuit without needing to oversell it. This is a hotel built around adults: guests eighteen and under are not permitted to stay, which clears the pool deck of anything but quiet, and makes the honeymoon and wedding packages, rose petals, Moet, a private yacht day for up to ten, feel like the actual point rather than an add-on. Staff work the desk in English, French and Turkish. A woman travelling with a partner, or with friends after a still, adults-only pocket of Mykonos rather than the beach-club circuit further round the island, will find the peninsula setting does work that hype usually only fakes. Anyone travelling with children should look elsewhere; the policy is absolute. Cash payments are capped at 500 euros under Greek regulation, worth knowing if that is how you planned to pay. There is no elevator: upper floors are reached by stairs only. What lingers is the sunset toward Delos, watched from a pool that belongs to no one else. On a private peninsula facing Delos, most suites at Amazon Mykonos come with their own infinity pool, and only adults are allowed to use it. Three kilometers from Mykonos Town, it suits couples and wedding parties more than families, who are turned away by policy, not preference.
