THE PINK NOTEBOOK VERDICT
Four Seasons Hotel Seoul
Four Seasons Hotel Seoul rises 29 floors above Jongno-gu, a walk from Deoksugung Palace and the plaza at Gwanghwamun, closer to City Hall and the old Joseon quarter than to the towers of Gangnam. Built in 2015 and holding 317 rooms, it reads more like a private club than a hotel lobby, with a doorman at the entrance, a gift shop and terrace inside, and 24-hour reception for arrivals at any hour. The 441-square-foot Deluxe King room is the entry point; families needing more space find it in the 517-square-foot King Family Room or the 775-square-foot Executive Suite. What separates this property from most luxury towers in Seoul is an indoor pool paired with a full kids' club and playroom, so a parent working from the business center can hand a child to the childcare desk without leaving the building. There is a spa with sauna and steam room, a gym, and an Executive Club Lounge, though lounge access covers only two adults and one child per room, with a supplement for anyone beyond that. Green Key certification sets it apart from competitors that only claim sustainability in marketing copy. Pets travel for a flat per-stay fee, and a nightly damage deposit is collected at check-in. Complimentary toiletries have been phased out under new environmental rules, so pack a toothbrush. This suits couples wanting a historic, walkable base and parents who refuse to choose between meetings and childcare. It will not suit anyone chasing Gangnam nightlife or a hotel that fades into the background. Deoksugung's stone walls are close enough to visit before the day's first meeting, coffee in hand from the room's own kettle. Four Seasons Hotel Seoul pairs a historic, walkable address near Deoksugung Palace with an indoor pool, kids' club, and Green Key certification rare among Seoul's luxury towers. Rooms run from 441 to 775 square feet, and lounge access covers just two adults and one child per room.

The Four Seasons Club Seoul spans three floors and includes an 8,234-square-foot gym, class studios, authentic Korean-style saunas and an indoor golf zone. Three pools, including a children's plunge pool, sit alongside a juice bar and members' lounge for post-workout recovery.
