In 1924 the Santa Fe Land Company built a guest house here called La Morada; it became The Inn in 1941. The original wood-beamed ceilings still grace the lobby, carried through the full property reimagination completed in 2023. Bing Crosby and Charlie Chaplin were regulars once, and the names stuck: Lilian's restaurant honors Lilian Rice, who planned the town in 1921, and Bing's Bar keeps its most famous guest in the room.
