Pink Notebook remembers what caught your eye, even months ago. No more digging through screenshots or trying to remember the name of that hotel in Paris.

Pink Notebook wasn’t born out of a big pitch deck. It came from real friction. Below is a short Q&A with our founder that explains what led to building it, what makes it different, and why it matters now.
Pink Notebook wasn’t born out of a big pitch deck. It came from real friction. Below is a short Q&A with our founder that explains what led to building it, what makes it different, and why it matters now.
What moment made you realize there was a real gap in the travel planning process?
It takes 277 different content pages for a traveller in the US to book a trip. I, and most of my friends, had the same problem, and still ended up finding places we liked better once we arrived.
What’s fundamentally different about how Pink Notebook approaches travel planning?
We meet you where you are. Whether you're browsing beach trips in Europe for September with no set destination, or you know you're going to Milan and want the best hotels, tips, and tools for you, we don’t start by asking "where and when." We help you figure it out.
Why now?
Frustration with travel planning is reaching a breaking point, and the incumbents aren’t adapting. Meanwhile, users are used to social-native, intuitive interfaces everywhere else. AI is also unlocking personalization and actionability that was never possible before.
Why you?
I grew up moving and traveling. I’ve collected thousands of recommendations over the years and always wanted a way to make them usable. I care deeply about beautiful places. I have a dynamic academic background that helps me manage the ambiguity of building as a solo founder. And I have a chip on my shoulder, which makes me tenacious.
What would surprise someone about how you’ve chosen to build this?
I haven’t followed the usual advice. I’m a non-technical solo founder who’s outsourced tech, and so far it’s working! I also don’t love the move fast and break things mentality. I would much rather analyze with speed and then execute with precision.
What’s the most important thing you’re not doing?
We’re not trying to be social media. This is social proof, not another feed. We’re also not trying to be everywhere at once. This is definitely curation over scale.
If someone only had 10 seconds, what’s the one thing they should understand about Pink Notebook?
Pink Notebook turns good taste and scattered recommendations into real trips, beautifully, collaboratively, and without the chaos.
