Alfredo's restaurant runs on vegetables from the estate's own garden and bread from a local baker, serving breakfast through dinner daily except Monday, when the kitchen closes after lunch and only breakfast and lunch carry on. A yoga deck and a small spa cover the slower hours, and an outdoor pool, bike hire and hiking trails fill the rest. Staff move comfortably between Portuguese, English, Spanish, German and French, and airport transfers can be arranged for guests arriving without a car, at a flat 200 EUR each way. Pets travel for 20 EUR per stay, extra beds for children run 45 EUR a night, and the property asks guests checking in after midnight to arrange it in advance. This is not a base for exploring a city; it rewards people content to stay put and follow the estate's own clock. Anyone wanting nightlife or a fast turnaround should look elsewhere on the coast.
