Rooms run small in number but wide in range, from sea-view suites with full double beds and private bathrooms to garden-view junior suites and a handful of twin rooms for those who don't need the view to justify the stay. The hotel has been photographed by Slim Aarons and Juergen Teller, and that history shows less in the lobby than in the way the place carries itself, service delivered with the stylish, effort-concealed nonchalance the Pellicano group calls sprezzatura, extending to a diving club, a tennis court, a library, and a spa with steam room and massage that don't need to announce themselves. Staff speak English, German, Italian and Spanish, and private check-in means arrivals skip the front desk altogether.
