The reef directly off the beach is among the best on the island, and mornings in it have a way of quietly restructuring the rest of the day around themselves. The Shipwreck Bar is built around the founders' restored original schooner and earns its reputation. Dinner at Moana is taken seriously, with ingredients that reflect where you are rather than simply what the kitchen can execute. This is a hotel that rewards people who are genuinely interested in the place they are staying in. The rates reflect that it knows what it is, and the experience reflects that it is right to.
