A 17th-Century Hamlet Turned Farm Resort
Borgo della Marmotta occupies a medieval agricultural hamlet on the grounds of Villa della Genga, a private residence built in 1673 for the Marchesi Montani della Fargna. A careful restoration preserved the hamlet's original stone architecture while converting it into an eighteen-room rural hotel set among olive groves and woodland near Poreta.
Vintage-Furnished Suite Apartments with Garden Pergolas
The estate's seven suite apartments occupy former agricultural buildings furnished with antiques, prints and porcelain rather than standard hotel decor. Each roughly forty-square-metre apartment includes air conditioning, a kettle tray for tea and coffee, and its own garden pergola with a table and chairs for outdoor dining, while some connect internally through a shared living-room door.
