THE PINK NOTEBOOK VERDICT
Rosapetra Spa Resort
Rosapetra Spa Resort spreads across four floors and just thirty-three rooms two kilometres outside Cortina d'Ampezzo, close enough to Campolongo Pass, the Arabba ski resort and Marmolada mountain that the Dolomites are the actual view, not a postcard of one. Many of the wood-and-stone rooms open onto private terraces or balconies facing the peaks, and rooms run from a 226 square foot Superior up to a 915 square foot Signature Double Suite with terrace, so there is real range for a solo stay or a family spreading out. The spa centre offers treatments from thalassotherapy to Hatma massage, plus an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, solarium and a doctor on call, more than most alpine hotels offer. A shuttle runs guests to the Faloria gondola for the lift network, and the resort keeps its own ski school, storage and rental on site, alongside a golf course, gym, cycling and hiking routes for the warmer months. There is one restaurant, one bar, a breakfast and snack menu with a diet option on request, and a staff roster fluent across seven languages, which suits a traveller arriving from anywhere and expecting to be understood immediately. Babysitting is available and pets are allowed, which suits a family ski week or a couple's spa break, though anyone wanting a town-centre address or true ski-in convenience will find the short shuttle ride a compromise. An extra bed costs €100 a night and a cleaning tax is billed separately at checkout, both worth knowing ahead of arrival. Check-in runs from 3pm, check-out by 11am. The spa depth paired with direct gondola access is the pairing most nearby resorts of this size do not manage. Thirty-three rooms in wood and stone sit two kilometres from Cortina d'Ampezzo, most with private terraces facing the Dolomites, alongside a spa running thalassotherapy to Hatma massage and a shuttle straight to the Faloria gondola. It suits a spa-and-ski break more than a night out in town.

THE PINK NOTEBOOK VERDICT

Your taste already has an address

Rosapetra's indoor pool sits within the spa wing, giving guests a place to swim regardless of weather while still feeling connected to the surrounding Dolomite peaks. It links directly to the sauna and relaxation areas, making it a central feature of a stay built around quiet, mountain-focused recuperation rather than resort-style activity.
Ski storage, ski school and ski shuttle service are offered
Airport transfer and car rental can be arranged
Pets are welcome at the resort
Babysitting and childcare services are available on request
