Rooms range from a 226-square-foot standard through to a 657-square-foot suite with water views, all fitted with the basics done properly: air conditioning where it matters, safes, proper toiletries, hairdryers. There are 77 rooms in total, so it never feels like a hotel processing arrivals; reception, spa treatments, restaurant tables and golf lesson slots all get booked in advance rather than improvised, which suits a guest who plans her stay rather than one hoping to wing it. Dinner has three distinct registers: Strönholt for a relaxed evening from midday through two dinner sittings, KAI3 for a tighter gourmet booking window Friday to Tuesday, and Vinothek.budersand for something quieter early in the week, with Bar.budersand open daily into the evening.
