Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono
Ski boots go on in the room and off again at the lift line; Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono sits directly on the slopes of Mt. Niseko Annupuri, with Mt. Yotei framed in the windows on a clear morning. The 210-room hotel opened in 2019 in the Hanazono area, five kilometres from central Kutchan, built around the powder snow that draws skiers of every level to this side of Hokkaido. What sets it apart from the other big-name lodges nearby is the golf: guests get priority access to the Hanazono course, so the same address that gets you first tracks in January gets you a tee time in July. Rooms carry indoor fireplaces and bathtubs, and two pools, a sauna, steam room and spa tub sit alongside a full spa and massage service for the days spent recovering rather than skiing. A kids club, babysitting and family rooms make it workable with children, and a conference hall and meeting rooms cover the days when work travels along. Staff speak seven languages including Chinese, Russian and Korean, useful given how international the Niseko slopes have become. Karaoke in the building is an odd, welcome note against all the polish. Pets under five kilograms can come for a fee, and parking costs extra, worth knowing before booking. This suits skiers who want to step from room to run without a shuttle, and travellers who want a hotel that works once the snow melts. It will not suit anyone hoping to stay in Kutchan's town center or keep costs down. The EarthCheck certification is a quiet detail, but it means the operation has been checked against something more concrete than a marketing claim. Ski-in, ski-out on Mt. Niseko Annupuri, with priority access to the Hanazono golf course for summer stays. Fireplaces, two pools and a full spa fill the downtime. Works for skiers and families; not for anyone wanting to stay in central Kutchan.

Guests receive priority access to the adjacent Hanazono golf course, part of grounds the hotel describes as one of Asia's most renowned ski, golf and summer lifestyle destinations. The same terrain that carries skiers in winter turns into fairways and mountain biking trails once the snow clears, extending the resort's appeal beyond ski season.
Kids' club and babysitting or childcare services for younger guests
