Fifty rooms spread across six floors carry a contemporary Venetian palette, and the water-facing suites, twelve Junior Suites and four Suites among them, look out to St. Mark's Basin rather than down a side canal, a view most palazzo hotels in the city cannot claim. A woman arriving by water taxi will notice it the moment the boat pulls in, stepping straight onto ground the abbey once stood on. The staff move between English, Italian, French, German, Spanish and Russian without missing a beat, useful when the concierge is sorting the details or the tour desk is booking an excursion. In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities.
A cleaning tax is not included in the reservation price and is payable separately at the hotel.
